Teaching Strategies: Multiculturalism / Diversity in Teaching American society is becoming increasingly diverse. As colleges and universities begin to reflect this diversity, teachers across academic disciplines try to understand students varied backgrounds and experiences. Instructors also try to find new ways to foster a safe and open learning environment for all students. The articles and links in this section describe student differences and their implications for teaching and learning.
