This recipient will show excellence if private studio teaching.  The recipient will also deliver a lecture or a lecture-demonstration under the auspices of the School of Music, Theatre & Dance during the fall term of the following University year - open to students, faculty, and the public.  The subject of the lecture should relate to the philosophies and techniques of teaching that the recipient believes to be the greatest significance.  Nominations are made by each department.  Nomination packets are due in December.
