Enriching Scholarship: Serious Games, Meaningful Play, and Games in Education

This session is sponsored by the Language Resource Center at the Enriching Scholarship conference. Participation in this session fulfills one workshop requirement for the Rackham-CRLT Graduate Teacher Certificate.

Session Description: What is it about games that makes them such a powerful force in people's lives? How can those aspects of games be integrated with educational goals? What does a successful "educational game" look like? These are the questions we'll explore in this presentation. A discussion period will follow.
