Session Description: This is a two-session "getting-started" workshop on designing virtual intercultural exchanges. Part One: Introduction to theoretical frameworks and instructional examples. Part Two: Participants will work through the process of designing an intercultural exchange project for their own class using various collaboration technologies (i.e. videoconferencing, Google Tools, WeVideo). During the workshops we will address theory, design, logistics, resources, and evaluation. Significant time will be spent discussing, sharing ideas, and networking. Please bring ideas, a lesson plan, or scenario from which to start. Participants can register for one or both sessions.
