SLAM 2012-2013

Sponsored by the Provost's Task Force on Learning Analytics, the Student Learning and Analytics at Michigan (SLAM) Seminar is a year-long speaker series. At this session, Professor George Siemens, Athabasca University, will discuss how faculty can adopt multiple analytics lenses and draw from a wide range of data sources. Dr. Siemens is a leading speaker and researcher on learning in digital environments.

The Student Learning and Analytics at Michigan (SLAM) Seminar is a year-long speaker series featuring both U-M faculty and visitors from other campuses. In this session, Professor Tim McKay, Chair of the Provost's Learning Analytics Task Force, will focus on how faculty at U-M are using data to improve teaching and learning. Additionally, he will introduce the Task Force's learning analytics initiatives at U-M, including plans for a Learning Analytics Fellows Program.
